Front of House Server
Being a Front of House server at Hearty Eats is a fun and dynamic position from taking customer orders and delivering food to making all of our teas and desserts. Line Cook
Being a line cook at Hearty Eats offers a unique experience where you can work the line alone and be part of a great team. We view this position as a starting point in our kitchen that focuses on learning how to plate all the dishes, learn our environment and demonstrate your ability to be organized, forward thinking and follow best practice. This position comes with the responsibility of self managing, keeping the line stocked, clean and ready to go and being an effective communicator.
Cook
This position is offered to line cooks who have have demonstrated the ability to self manage, have attention to detail and quality, follow recipes and understand our prep pars and changing service volume. This position is a morning position responsible for all cooking prep, as well as delegating to line cooks and planning cooking prep for the week. This position has the opportunity to become Kitchen Supervisor as they demonstrate the knowledge of produce procurement, staff development, leadership and communication skills.
Kitchen Supervisor
This position is offered to cooks who have gained fundamental knowledge of our operations, have demonstrated the ability to self manage, delegate and teach. Attention to detail and quality, following recipes, understanding our prep pars and changing service volume remain a key part of this role. This position is a morning position responsible for all cooking prep, as well as delegating to line cooks and planning cooking prep for the week. This position as the opportunity to become Kitchen Manager as they demonstrate the knowledge of produce procurement, staff development, forward thinking, cost awareness leadership and communication skills.
FOH Manager
Our front of house manager oversees all FOH staff, ensures policies and procedures are followed, staff development, quality control of teas and desserts, procurement of beverages and non-perishables.
Kitchen Manager
A Kitchen Manager at Hearty Eats oversees all kitchen staff and kitchen operations. This role is a working manager role, there to ensure success off all staff, staff training and development, ensure policy & procedures are known and followed by their staff and ensures quality control over food being prepared and served.
